The Gorki Apartments – Stay at Leo Sommer’s in Berlin

Posted by in Travel

Nespresso Maschine u.v.m.

Was mir besonders gefiel?

Viel Spaß bei meiner Roomtour!

♥ Liebe,
Samah

Hello loves! 🙂
As some of you may have seen on Instagram, Snapchat & Co. a few weeks ago I was back in Berlin and for my time there I had a very special place to stay!
The Gorki Apartments – Maybe you have even already heard of them?
If so or not, I will be the right person to tell you about them! 🙂
I’ll take you with me on a little Roomtour in my Apartment –  in the centre of Berlin.

When my friend told me about the Gorki Apartments a while ago she was totally amazed and so I thought I’d really have to stay there some time when I’m back in Berlin. So I decided to rent a room there for my travels. 🙂

Roomdesign

Already when walking in you will notice a beautiful restored older building design and instead of standing in front of an normal reception you will find yourself in a super classy furnished lobby.

And every apartment has its own name instead of just having roomnumbers which makes it more personal and makes you more comfortable. Don’t you think so? 🙂

My apartment was named „Leo Sommer“ and before even moving in I already fell in love with the name! I was so excited! And as if it wasn’t enough already, every guest had his own bell and a mailbox. It felt just like home.

Interior

The furnishing was of modern furniture and of a few old flea market treasures. It was chosen by architects like Sandra Pauquet and Kim Wang to give it a home-ish atmosphere.
Which basically means there are no same apartments at Gorki Apartments and in the inside of the apartment you won’t find two similar elements. And even if Leo Sommer was one of the smaller apartments, for me it was just perfect! It had a bathtub, a rain shower, some wonderful smelling care products, an inexpressible comfy bed AND even a kitchen unit with a Nespresso Machine!

What I liked the most?
The awesome high ceilings which reminded me of my childhood in Berlin.
I just love the old building style!

Aren’t you going to Berlin soon? Have you already looked for a place to say? 🙂

Have fun with my roomtour!

♥ Love,
Samah
