Ich glaube spätestens als der Bewerbungsstress nach der Schulzeit anfing, hat sich jeder von uns dieser Frage stellen müssen.
Und erinnert ihr euch noch an diese (schlimmen! 😀 ) steifen Hosenanzüge, die man quasi aufgezwungen bekommen hat?

„Du musst so seriös wie möglich aussehen, erwachsen wirken und ernst genommen werden!“

Hieß es von allen Seiten, vor allem im Internet, wenn man nach Bewerbungstipps gesucht hat.
Als ich vor mehreren Jahren das erste mal zu einem Vorstellungsgespräch eingeladen wurde, habe ich mich jedenfalls nicht in so etwas zwängen lassen.
Das hat einfach noch nie zu mir gepasst. Zumindest nicht diese nach nichts aussehenden Dinger von früher.
Ich habe für mein Vorstellungsgespräch in einem Anwaltsbüro damals einfach nach einer schwarzen Hose geschaut, schwarz-weiße Ballerinas und ein halbwegs gut aussehendes Blusenshirt dazu ausgesucht. Und ich wurde noch am selben Tag eingestellt. Auch ohne Hosenanzug! 🙂

Versteht mich bitte nicht falsch.
Das Ganze gilt natürlich nicht, wenn ihr euch bei einer Bank bewerbt oder bspw. einem Gericht.
Aber im Grunde genommen kann ich mich schick und elegant kleiden oder mir eine „seriöse“ Bluse anziehen, ohne mich zu verkleiden.
Ich finde das kann jeder, weil es im Endeffekt die Mischung aus gepflegt aussehen, Persönlichkeit und Charakter ist, die die Person gegenüber überzeugt und solange man sich selbst treu bleibt und sich wohl fühlt, macht man nichts falsch.

Für mein Geschäftsessen in Berlin hatte ich meinen heutigen Look zusammengestellt.

Ich trug eine sportliche, aber dennoch elegant aussehende Jacke aus schwarzer Spitze, ein einfaches weißes Shirt, was finde ich nie verkehrt sein kann, weil weiß eine erfrischende Farbe ist und das Outfit etwas auflockert.
Weiße Sneaker mit transparenten Einsätzen. Ebenfalls sportlich, aber „clean“ und locker.
Und um dem Business Look gerecht zu werden, habe ich mich dazu entschieden die klassische, hochgeschnittene Nadelstreifen Hose beizubehalten.
ABER! Eine mit coolem Schnitt! 😉

English: What do I wear to a business meeting, without overdressing?

I think at least since we all had to go for job interviews after finishing school, we have all had that problem of not knowing what to wear.

 And do you remember those stiff pantsuits, which you were kinda forced to wear? 😀

„You need to look as serious as possible, to be taken serious and be mature!“

Everyone said and especially when you look for tips in the internet, that’s all you find.
 As, a few years ago, I went to a job interview for the first time, I obviously didn’t wear one of those suitpants. It just doesn’t suit me, it never did.
 So for my job interview in at a lawyers office I wore black pants, black&white ballerinas and a casual looking blouse. And I got recruited.

Please don’t get me wrong.
 This doesn’t work out anyhwere. For example when you apply for a job at a bank or at a court.
 But basically I can dress chic and smart or wear a „legitimate“ blouse, without disguising.
 I think everyone can do it that way, because in the end it depends on the mix of looking neat, personality and character, if you want to convince the person in front of you and as long as you stay loyal to yourself, you can’t do anything wrong.

For my businessdinner in Berlin I combined the following look, which I’ll show you today.

I wore a sporty, but still elegant looking jacket made of black lace, a simple white shirt, you can never do anything wrong with a white shirt, because white is a refreshing colour and it eases the look.
 White sneakers with transparent sides. Also sporty, but sill „clean“.
 And to make the grade with the business look, I kept the high-cut pinstripe pants.
BUT! It has a cool cut! 🙂
